Two inboxes, so your message reaches the right place. Corrections to a rate go to one; everything else, from general questions to business inquiries, goes to the other.
Rate corrections
A rate, year or source on this site that doesn't match the official publication.
General and business
Questions about the site, state requests, advertising, partnerships and press.
We read every message and usually reply within a few business days.
Reporting a wrong rate
Every rate on this site is copied from a government publication, and each page links to it. If a rate looks wrong, email corrections@millrateusa.com with:
- The page address on this site
- The rate you expected, and the year
- Where you found it: a link to your town's or state's publication, or a photo of your tax bill with personal details covered
We check every report against the original source. If we got it wrong, we fix the page and say so in the next update.
General questions
Questions about how the site works, what a rate means, or when a state's new rates will appear go to info@millrateusa.com. Our methodology and guides may already have the answer.
Requesting a state
We add states whose governments publish a rate for every town or district. If you know of an official statewide file for a state we don't cover yet, send the link to info@millrateusa.com.
Business inquiries
For advertising and sponsorship, partnerships, or linking to and citing our pages, email info@millrateusa.com. Tell us who you are, what you have in mind and the pages or states it concerns.
Sponsors and advertisers never affect which rates we publish or how they're shown. We don't sell or license the rate data in bulk.
Press and media
Journalists are welcome to cite rates from this site; please link to the page and name the government source it lists. For questions or a comment, email info@millrateusa.com with your deadline.
What we can't help with
We can't look up your property's assessment, answer questions about a specific bill, or give legal or tax advice. Your county assessor, appraisal district or tax collector can help with those. Each state guide explains who to contact.
